Tournament Rules Tournament format
- 2 groups with 7 teams in each group.
- Each team will 4 matches against randomly picked opponents within the group.
- Top 4 teams from each group will advance to Quarter Finals.
- In case of 2 or more teams having same points, the ranking will be decided based on Net Run Rate.(Run rate calculation please refer last paragraph).
General
- Waiver form must be signed by captain with list of players.
- All basic cricket rules will be applicable unless specified.
- Each innings will start with new ball.
- It is the responsibility of the team captain to ensure that each member on his team is aware of and comprehends the rules.
- Both teams should be available before 20 minutes of match start time.
- In case of Team walk-away, Fee will NOT be refunded.
- By-Runners are not allowed.
- Retired batsmen will be considered as out.
- Playing 11 should be selected only from the list provided.
- No additions allowed during league phase.
- Playing 11 and the 12th man should be announced before the commencement of the match.
- Toss for each match will be 15 minutes before start of the match.
- Leg before Wicket is not considered.
- All League matches will be played 10 overs a side
- Quarter Final, Semifinal & Finals will be played 12 overs.
- Each Team will have 40 minutes to finish 10 overs which include the injury time.
- There will be a 5 min interval between the 2 innings.
- Each bowler can bowl a maximum of 2 overs in 10 Overs match
- Two bowlers can bowl a maximum of 3 overs and rest can bowl maximum of 2 overs each in 12 Overs Match.
- Each Team will have 50 minutes to finish 12 Overs which include the injury time (if any).
- A team player should not play for another team in the tournament. Fielding Substitution is exempted.
- It remains legal for a bowler to run out a non-striker who has strayed outside his crease after he has started his run up, but before he has entered his delivery stride.
- Any team should have at least 8 players to start the match.
Rain Interruptions:
- In case of rain interruptions, match will resume from the point where it was stopped and the teams should field the same playing 11.
- If match can’t start due to rain, it will be rescheduled for a later day (weekday/weekend).
Points System
- Winning team gets 2 points
- In case of Match tie, the winner will be decided based on Super Over.
- Three Batsmen and a Bowler should be announced before Super Over.
- Super over batting/bowling decided by toss.
- Bowl Out would be considered if the Super over leads to tie. 3 Deliveries with three bowlers each for a team.
- In case of Team walk-away, the playing team will be awarded with 2 points
Field restriction
- 5 fielders are only allowed on leg side(excluding bowler) if violated NO ball will be declared
- Offside no fielders restriction

Substitute rules
- Substitute players are allowed until 5 Overs for 12 Overs Match and 4 Overs for 10 Overs Match.
- If a player doesn’t show up for the match (above rule), team will continue to play with the rest of the players.
- Substitutes are not allowed to bat, bowl or Keeping.
- In case of an injury (during match) a substitute fielder will be in the field until end of the match, only if the opponent captain and Umpire agree.
- Anyone can be the substitute player.
Sledging
- Though sportive aggression is allowed on the field, verbal abuses, use of profanities etc directed at players of the opposing team or Umpires will be considered as offensive behavior and will not be tolerated.
- Player should inform the ruling Umpire, respective captains and tournament committee in case of Sledging
Penalties for Offensive behavior:
- The team will be disqualified and would not be allowed to continue to play the tournament.
- If a player is reported offensive then he will be suspended from playing rest of the tournament upon organizing committee and Umpire’s consent.
Decision Making
- Umpires decision is final.
- Organizing Committee has the authority to overrule any questionable decisions by the umpires.
- Umpire support required from all the participating teams.
Tournament Awards: Trophies will be provide for below
- Man of the Match(each match)
- Man of the Series
- Best bowler of the series
- Best Batsmen of the series
- Winners & Runners-up
Note: Water will be provided for all matches.
Run rate Calculation:Example:
· Team A bat first and scored 85-4 off their full quota of 10 over's. Team B successfully chase, getting their winning runs in 7.2 over's with a four with sixteen balls (2.4 of the 10 overs) remaining, leaving them on 89-5. The the runrate will be calculated as below:
