RULES AND REGULATIONS , ALONG WITH PLAYING CONDITIONS OF @TAHWEEL ALRAJHI T20 CRICKET CUP - 2022 1. All Matches will start at 7:20 am.for Morning matches and 1:00 pm for Evening matches Toss will be at 7:10 am and 12:50 pm respectively.. Walkover will be given at 8:00am and1:45 pm respectively. Time following is important. Umpires have been given full authority by Committee. If any team is late. Umpires will deduct overs as .5 minutes per over. If both teams are late. The overs will be reduced as 5 over per minute. For example if match starts 7:25 am instead of 7:15am.or 1 10 pm instead of 1:00 pm. Match will be of 18 overs per innings. Any team that objects Umpires decision and delays match because of that. The RUNS or OVERS of that team will be deducted . The runs scored in last two overs will be deducted. If this discussion crosses time limit of 8:15 am. Or 2:00 Pm , Opposite Team will be given Walkover.. if Both teams will come after8:15 am. Or 2:00 pm. The Match will be Cancelled and No point will be awarded to either team. 2. Umpires are informed not to waste time in taking advice from captains. That both captains agree and we started match. Following of Rules is important not the advice of captains or committee members . Its duty of umpires to follow Rules and Regulations of tournament and force teams to follow it. Umpires are fully authorized to do their duty. All teams and Players should Respect and follow decisions of Umpires. Disrespect of umpires will not be tolerated. Any umpire complains to committee about Miss behaviour of any team or team member will be strictly dealt. Imposing fine or ban or both. . All teams should send senior , cricket knowing umpires. And those who have attended Umpiring courses will be appreciated. 3. Teams that fail to send Umpires will be punished by deducting their Two (2) points. If they do not have points they will be fined 200 SR. (100.SR per Umpire) 4.. Teams have to play all pool matches. Any Team failing to do so without geniune reason will be banned for next tournament 5. No warning for above shoulder balls. First such ball will be given as NO BALL..Any Bowler bowling two such balls in an over will not be allowed to continue his bowling in that match. 6.All teams should get their score sheets signed by umpires. 7.. Any punishment will be decided by the Core Committee 8. Any Bad comment which shows hatred. Disrespect or insult on FB , Whatsapp or any other social networking website will not be tolerated,. Any person doing so will be fined 100 SR. On Repeating so. He will be banned from playing in that tournament. 9.If any Team is disqualified by committee from tournament. The opponents of that team will be awarded Walk Over. 10. In Case of Rain. Both teams will get a point Each. 11. All new teams had to be Registered along with Registration fee of 300 Sr. Plus Entry fee of that tournament. 12. God forbid. If any player's relative expires in his native country. There will be no change in schedule 13. Its duty of all teams to do proper . Neat and Clean scoring. And write proper and official names of players to choose Best Bowler or Batsman. Otherwise no record of runs or wickets will be kept and no Man of the Matches will be give to such teams. 14 On whatsapp group u can give or take information to or from committee. Please don’t use it as a chat group. 15. Its necessary to have at least 8 players to play a match 16 Match will be of 20 overs each. circle will be of 6 overs. 17. Safety of player is his own responsibility.. helmet is must atleast for fast bowling. .if any injury or accident happens due to non following of rules. The player will be held responsible, committee is not to be blamed in this case. 18. To get a Walkover Team must present fully in ground. At least with 8 players. And to get a valid walkover u should get sign of umpire or any Committee member present in ground. 19. If any team is not playing in this Tournament. Their players can play in any team. But a Player of precipitating team has to pay 100 SR to play with other team.if he has not play any match with his current team, But a player doing so often will be Banned from playing in AQCL. Few more things will be considered in such cases , which will be decided by AQCL Committee. 20. All teams should be in one uniform. Its better to have colour kit. At least coloured shirt same for all and white trouser if not , teams can use white kit. All players should have one and same uniform. The player without proper uniform of team will not be allowed to play. 21. Its open tournament, players can play in any league match. But for knock out stage player has to be part of any league match to be eligible to play in knock out stage. Those players who are permanent part of their respective teams and are on vacation and did not return due to unavailability of flights can play at any stage of the tournament. Even in knock out stages without playing in league matches. Umpires will take the name of playing 12 players names ( including 12th man ) on scoring sheets or captain will make sure to write it on the side of their score sheets before start of their matches. 22. All team captains are requested to get copy of these rules signed and acknowledged by each and every member of his team. Hope all teams and its members will Co operate with committee and play this gentle men’s game with its true spirit and following its rules and regulations to enjoy the beauty of game of cricket.
