Common Rules :

·         Each match will be of 9 overs.

·         Each team should consist of 9 players (7 Men + 2 women). In case of non-availability of any women player , it is mandatory that the teams in contention will play with a single women player per team.

·         Only 2 Umpires will be available for every match.

·         Playing teams should be present 10 minutes before the start of match.

·         Match cannot be postponed under any circumstances. Organizers decision will be final regarding that. In case of Rain/any unavoidable circumstances the match will be postponed to a feasible day. Organizer’s decision is final.

·         Keeper will be from fielding side.

·         1st two overs should be bowled and batted by Women mandatorily. If one woman happens to get out in that period, single batting is allowed for the other lady player for that period only. Men will not be allowed to play in a lady’s over.

·         Each player from the team has to bowl one over each.

·         No single player can play at the end. If a woman and a man are not out, match continues.

·         If any player misses out during/between the match and there are no substitutes then the other team will be considered as Winners.

·         Over arm bowling action will not be allowed.

·         Runners are not allowed under any circumstances.

·         No fast ball appeal for Men and Women. Umpire’s decision will be final in that regards and it will be considered as a re-ball.

·         Full toss above hip will consider as no ball. Next ball will be free hit.

·         Extra runs can be conceded for overthrows. No runs for byes & leg byes

·         If the ball hits the electric wire, it will be a re-ball.

·         Over stepping and full toss above hip will be considered as a NO BALL. The next delivery will be a free hit.

·         If the ball goes above head, then it will be considered as a wide ball and 1 extra run will be given to batting team. One ball above shoulder is allowed per over. If one more ball goes above shoulder in the same over then it will be considered as a NO BALL and 1 extra run will be given to the batting team. The next ball will be a free hit.

·         A new ball will be given for each innings of the match.

·         In spite of all rules, final call will be with the umpires and the APL organizing Team.

Rules for Men:

·         Pitch will be 22 feet for Men.

·         All keeping rules are applicable.

·         Hit WICKET will be considered as OUT.

·         There will be 1 extra run for wide ball and No Ball, and it will be a re-ball.

Rules for Women:

·         Pitch will be 17 feet for Women.

·         Keeping Rules are applicable.

·         Runs scored by Women will be multiplied by 2.

·         Hit WICKET will be considered as OUT.

·         There will be no extra run for wide ball and it will be a re-ball. No runs for byes & leg byes

·         There will be 1 extra run for No Ball and the next delivery will be a free hit.

·         Extra runs can be conceded for overthrows.

·         While bowling, Maximum of two pitches are allowed for Women to reach the Batter crease.

Additional Rules: (Third Party Application)

Please note that we are following the standard ICC procedures for calculating the bonus points. 1 bonus point will be rewarded for the team that achieves victory with a run rate 1.25 times that of the opposition. A team run rate will be calculated by reference to the number of runs scored divided by the number of overs/balls faced. Where a side is all out, the number of overs to be used is the maximum number of overs that side was otherwise eligible to face. A normal win will fetch the winning team 4 points and a win with bonus point will fetch the winning team 5 points. A tie will result in rewarding 2 points to both the teams
