All matches will be played at Archgate and Scogging middle school grounds in the morning.
Toss for all games will be at 7.15 AM. Match should begin within 15 minutes after the toss.
First 6 overs powerplay and only 2 fielders can be kept outside circle.
Runners are NOT permitted even if batsman is injured.
During league games in the event of inclement weather or washout then game will be rescheduled by both the captains and umpire’s approval only on that weekend. All other scenarios points will be shared.
If match interrupted by weather during playoffs, please be prepared to play two games in a week. Also please refer below cases for playoffs,
Case 1 : Weather is unplayable, try to finish within that weekend else move by one week subjected both captains should agree.
Case 2 : Pushed to next week, what if
2a - One team is unavailable – Unavailable team will be forfeit
2b - Both teams unavailable – Table topper will be a winner.
Maximum 5 fielders allowed on the leg side excluding bowler.
Roster will be locked for playoffs, as player should have played atleast one league game.
5 min break for every 10 overs. 10 min break for every 20 overs. Umpires can cut down the break time if there is delay in proceedings of the game.
DLS method will be applied only after 10 overs of 2nd innings.
Minimum 7 players needed by any team to start the game. Also entire playing 12(including supersub if any) should be present in ground before end of 6 overs. Player cannot walk in after 6 overs and play as supersub especially after 10 overs or in second innings.
During powerplay, team must ensure to keep minimum 7 players inside circle. This will restrict late coming fielders to be placed outside the circle.
If the batting/bowling team fails to start the game at 7.30 AM, two over is deducted for every 15 minutes delay after 7.30 AM.
Umpires don’t show up = Minus 2 points.
Each team required to send at least one umpire to complete their umpiring duty.
In case of One umpire.
That neutral umpire will stand as main umpire for entire game.
Leg umpiring will be done from the batting team.
Main umpire decision is always final and he can over turn any of the leg umpire’s decision.
Umpire presence during the toss is mandatory.
Even though if the team is knocked out, completing the assigned umpiring duty is mandatory.
Umpire have all the rights to take any decision. Umpire decision is FINAL and Players interference is strictly PROHIBITED in umpiring duties.
Please send umpires who are well educated about these rules.
12th Player Super sub is allowed. This player can bowl, field but cannot bat and must declare him before the start of game.
Voluntary retirement is considered as out. Only if there is an injury and umpire permits the retired player can bat but only at the last position.
Two bouncers are allowed per over. Third bouncer will be a no-ball with free hit.
Head above balls are not considered as no-ball if the batsman touches with bat. It can be still awarded as bouncer.
If a bowler bowls a waist high no ball widely, no ball takes precedence and will not be a wide.
Mankading is considered run OUT. No warnings are necessary.
If a batsman gets out by catch, the new batsman should face the next ball. (Following recent ICC guidelines).
Man of the match is given to the MVP of each match. Totally based on leading point scorer of that game.
Each Team responsible to get their own spring stumps(or regular), boundary cones.
Bowling guard is not mandatory.
Wide line 1 bat from off stump.
No side box is considered while bowling.
