In Group B encounter Danube had a thumping victory over PCC. Opting to bat first Al Danube openers quickly went back to pavilion. But batsmen Afzal and Kaish took the attack to the opposition and scoring at a strike rate of more than 200. PCC bowlers were hammered to all around the park with both batsman in excellent touch reached their half century in fine style. Kaish Mujawar reached his 50 in only 11 balls, the fastest half century of the tournament. After the dismissal of Kaish, Afzal was joined by their Captain Thamimul Ansari who had clear intent from the start and went berserk after the bowling. Afzal and Ansari scored 12 run per over in later stage of the innings and took past Al Danube score over 200. Afzal was dismissed in the 15th over but Ansari finished Al Danube's innings by scoring 16 runs in the final over with 2 huge sixes and completing his half century in his trademark style Al Danube posted 224 on the board, the highest of the tournament so far. In reply, PCC openers Mannan and Aziz gave the team a good start scoring 6 an over but a huge target ahead lost wickets at regular interval by going after the shots. Later Aslam and Zain provided a brief cameo but was not sufficient for the home team.
