REHMAT ALI CRUSHED PCC's QUARTERFINALS HOPE

In what to be a do-or-die match for PCC to qualify for the knockouts, they were bundled out for 87 against the group toppers UGB. Thanks to a superb knock by opener Rehmat Ali who scored 48 runs which included 4 huge sixes and 2 boundaries.

Opting to bat first UGB lost their opener Reethu early, on the other hand, Rehmat Ali continued his fine form build a good partnership with Tariq for the second wicket. It took an exceptional effort from bowler Jinu to dismiss Rehmat Ali who was looking dangerous for a big knock but was unlucky and fell short by 2 runs for the half-century mark.

Tariq, Rana, Shameer, and Abrar's contribution took UGB to a total of 142. Jinu was the pick of the bowlers with 2 wickets

PCC while chasing never looked comfortable against UGB's formidable bowling lineup and were losing wickets at regular intervals. Later in the inning, Mannan and Jinu scored some quick runs but they were not sufficient for the home side and were all out for 87 runs.

UGB 142/6 16 Overs
Rehmat Ali 48(34) 6x4 4x2
Abrar Ahmed 26 (6) 6x4
Jinu 2/22 (3)

PCC 87/7 16 Overs
