By registering to play, members understand and acknowledge that participating in cricket match events could be action sport events carrying a significant risk of serious personal injury, death or property damage, or severe or even fatal injuries to my children, or others.
Players accept that as a participant they are responsible for their safety while participating in this recreational activity. Players specifically acknowledge that the following persons or entities including the Blackwater Cricket Association, the landlord of the facility Naj III, Inc., the promoters, the sponsors, the organizers, the promoter clubs, the officials, and any agents, representatives, officers, directors, employees, members or affiliates of any person or entity named above are not responsible for my safety. Players specifically RELEASE and DISCHARGE, in advance, all of the above persons, participating teams, and entities from any and all liability whether known or unknown, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the teams, person, or entity. Players agree and accept all responsibility for the risks, conditions, and hazards which may occur whether known or unknown.
Players HEREBY AGREE TO WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE any and all claims for damages for death, personal injury, or property damage which I/my child, or Team may have or which may hereafter accrue as a result of my/ participation in the events at this cricket facility against all persons and entities involved in this event whether or not such injury or damage was foreseeable.
Players further agree to forever HOLD HARMLESS and INDEMNIFY all persons and entities, generally or specifically, from any and all liability for the death and/or personal injury or property damage resulting in any way from my/my children and team’s participating in these events at this cricket facility. Players agree to supervise their child or arrange for supervision of their child during this sporting event, and that they abide by the rules and regulations of the Blackwater Cricket Association (BCA) and any other rules or regulations imposed by the organizers for specific events. This Acknowledgement of and Assumption of Risk and Release shall be binding upon heirs and assigns.
By registering with BCA, Players understand and acknowledge to abide by the Blackwater Cricket Association Code of Conduct as defined here:
Understand and acknowledge that cigarette smoking including e-cigarettes are strictly prohibited anywhere near the cricket facility.
Understand and acknowledge that proper protection gear will be used while playing the game. This includes helmets, abdominal gaurd etc.
Understand and acknowledge that alcohol consumption near the cricket facility or participating in the events under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited at the cricket facility.
Understand and acknowledge that leaving any kind of trash like bottles, cups, cans, bags, wrappers, food etc., on or near the ground is strictly prohibited. Agree to use trash bins provided on the cricket facility.
Understand and acknowledge that any act of violence or personal abuse of any sort is NOT acceptable on the field of play. Any such acts will result in the expulsion of individuals responsible for such acts from the game without warning and may result in the disqualification of the team. The on-field umpire’s decision will be final and accepted by all parties at all times. Agree to not interrupt the game and file a complaint by contacting BCA management off the field of any violations to the code of conduct on the cricket facility.
Understand and acknowledge that cars must be parked in designated parking area. Understand that parking on the main road or obstructing adjacent property owner’s access is prohibited. Understand that cars are not allowed in the play area for any reason.
Understand and acknowledge that restrooms are provided at the facility for my use. Understand that public urination is strictly prohibited on or near the cricket facility and acknowledge; will accept any punitive penalties if this requirement is violated.
