Opening game between Stallions and Spartans ended up in a big victory for Stallions. Mohsin Mhafooz shines in both of their games. Stallions went on to beat Dark Knights also, though they give a good fight defending a modest total. Thunders chased down 100 runs with almost 2 overs to spare over Sultans. Shaheens put on a record for the series so far by posting 135/3 with both Pratheesh and Waheed hitting half centuries. Sultans in reply were looking very dangerous and aggresive and almost got over the line, but felt short by 17 runs. Tomorrow, the day will be filled with excitment as the groups will be in deciding stages. Stay tuned for more action! |
