Tournament Formats

Tournament formats:

  1. 8 Teams

    1. League stage - 2 Groups - 4 teams each. 

    2. Each team should get at least 2 games. 

    3. Top 2 teams from each Group will qualify for the playoffs.

    4. SF will be Winner of Group A vs Second place Group B and vice versa. 

    5. All league and playoff games, including finals, will be ‘Compulsory-chase’ ie there is not tie.

    6. League stage shall be at least 5 overs. Playoff stage shall be at least 3 overs.

    7. If any changes, written approval (email, text or whatsapp message) from the committee is needed prior to the tournament. It can not be changed on the day of the tournament.  

  2. 10 Teams

    1. League stage - 2 Groups - 5 teams each. 

    2. Each team should get at least 2 games.

    6. League stage shall be at least 4 overs. Playoff stage shall be at least 3 overs.

  3. 12 Teams

    1. League stage - 2 Groups - 6 teams each. 

    2. Each team should get at least 2 games. 

    3. Top 2 teams from each Group will qualify for the playoffs.

    4. SF will be Winner of Group A vs Second place Group B and vice versa. 

    5. All playoff games, including finals, will be ‘Compulsory-chase’ i.e. there is no tie.
      League stage all games 4 overs. Playoff stage all games 3 overs. 

 

  • ​Every new team will have to pay extra Rs 500 as a 'NEW TEAM REGISTRATION FEES'  to the commitee. 
  • Any current team not registering for continuous 3 sundays will count as a 'NEW TEAM' on the 4th Sunday and will have to pay 'new team' registration fees again at that moment.
  • Any changes to the tournament format  ie number iofteams, overs, league stage etc are not permitted without the approval of the commitee.
