Bca Big Bash T20 cricket edition # 3 was one of the most exciting leagues organised at Bca Oval cricket ground where we had great exciting finish between the 2 top contenders. On June 12,2022 ,Bca cricket league proudly concluded its 3rd edition of the Bca Big bash T20. The Grand Final was played between the top 2 teams Bangkok Blues cc led by young Captain Shantanu Tambe and Falcon cc was led by Nishant Grover. Though Bangkok Blues had entered the Finals by beating Sunrise cc in qualifier round ,Falcon came from behind to beat Sunrise cc in the 20th over of the semi finals to play the Grand Final against the mighty Bangkok Blues cc. Falcon cc chose to bowl first after winning the toss as they had great confidence in their star studded batting line up who were confident to chase any total. To everyones surprise ,Falcon cc bowlers struck well in early overs and sent 3 top orders batsman Manish Saxena ,Masood Anwar and Abhik Sarkar back to pavilion. It seemed that Blues had landed into trouble but the most strong and reliable middle order batsman Dhey Pandya got into great partnership with Monish first and later with Mukesh Thakur to steer way Blues to a safe zone and stable total . Towards the end Kamlesh scored a firing 42 and Gautam bombarded the bowlers around with many 6es.Bangkok Blues piled up 178 in their 20 overs. The inning chase started well by Falcon cc with great confidence. Score was taking shape when Monish took 2 wickets in the 6th Over which included a difficult catch of Irfan Memon by Captain Shantanu Tambe. Shrikant ,the top order batsman in Bangkok Cricket could not do much as partners got out frequently. In the last 5 overs Falcon Regquired 50 runs. The trio bowlers Mukesh ,Kamlesh and Gautam Rishi restricted the Falcons from scoring at will. Shrikant was still on fire hitting on almost every corner of the ground.In the last over Falcon needed 18 runs and Shriaknt hit 2 sixes before getting run out from a direct throw .Falcon lost by 7 runs. This brought life in to Bangkok Blues cc camp and the ground was full of cheers. Bangkok Blues cc was crowned as the new champion of Bca Big Bash T20. Prior to this 3rd edition ,Pakistan cc was twice the Champion of Bca T20 Congratulation to all the members of the team.Special thanks to Ahok Chand ,Ashish Dey and Anurag Mehra for supporting their team th play good cricket at Bca cricket grounds. On the oher hand Falcon cc won the runner up trophy as felt just just 7 runs short of a great victory over Bangkok Blues cc. Captain Nishant Grover was proud to take the trophy and was full of praise for the efforts put by his team. Bca will continue organizing the best forms of cricket to its participating teams. |
