Bca Super League T25 season 2022-23 started on 15th October 2022 and 11 teams participated in this tourney. This was the 6th Season for Bca running professional cricket Leagues.So far every league has given us a new champion. The first 5 champions of the Bca T25 leagues are as follows. 1) Asian Stars ( 2018-2019) ,2) Bangkok Stars ( 2019-2020) , 3) Bangkok Blues ( 2020),4) Diamond XI ( 2020-2021) , 5) Seakings cc ( 2021-22) and Pakistan cc ( 2022-23) won the 6th Season Championship. This was one of the most competitive league ever played at Bca cricket grounds. The high scores and close matches added special essence to the top quality competition.Many games went to the last ball decision. 4 teams qualified for the last round with Bangkok Blues took the lead by notching the top spot followed by Pakistan cc ,Bca XI and Bangkok Stars cc.Both BCA XI and Bangok Stars cc lost in the semi Finals allowing Bangkok Blues and Pakistan cc to compete for the Grand Final. The final show began with Blues winning the toss and asked Pakistan cc to bat first. Saad Akbar ,the top scorer in this league departed early by scoring 9 runs where as Mohd. Sheharayar scored 87 valuable runs.Sanjeev Jayasooriyam scored 25 and Tauseef Khalid scored 26 .Pakistan cc was able to score 192 runs.Jandre Coetzee and Mukesh took 3 weickets each. 192 wasn't a big total for star studded Bangkok Blues cc. Bobby raina scored 23 ,Abhik sarkar 5,Dheypandya 57.Mukesh Thakur 19 ,Jandre Coetzee 31 ,Kamlesh 13 and Ashok Chand got run out on 2. Bangkok Blues had few unneccesry run outs and the luck moved to Pakistan cc camp. The Bangkok Blues could score 183 runs and fell short of 9 runs. Pakistan cc bowlers did the job by restricting Blues .Mohd.Sheharyar took 1 wicket,Nawaz Khan and Naveed Pathan shared 2 wickets each Both Sanjeev Jayasooriyam and Javed Khan bagged a wicket each. The 12th man Hammad -Hammad did excellent fielding as a substitute and restricted a lot of runs. Pakistan won the prstigious Bca Cup was sponsored by Ashok Chand and it was dedicated to his father late Sh.Shankar Chand. Bangkok Blues were happy to win the Runners Up trophy. Well played both teams. Thanks to all the teams ,captains ,bca working committee ,Umpires and the organisers for organising another successful cricket league. |
