Congratulations to Lanka Lions for Winning the 2017 CLPL Cricket Championship and to the Runner-up Chicago Super Kings. Also to the Best Bowler Mushtak Naim and Best Batsman Infas Rahman. Tough luck for the last year finalists Chicago Raiders and Golden Lions. All four Teams played excellent cricket as they all fought until the last over of each game. The Organizers like to Thank all the Captains, Players, Umpairs, Families & Individuals who attended the event and helped us in many ways. Also the Caterers Pearl Island and The Slice for their delicious food. Special THANKS to Azam Muthasim for hosting the CLPL Organizers for the 2017 Draft with a special dinner, Ansar Hussain for all the Cricket related items, Arshad Anver for doing most of the work which cannot be listed here as he has done a lot, Aftab Ahamed for the Digital Scoring System, Live Videos & Pictures, Mushtak Naim for Ground related matters, Ahsan for drafting the Rules, Yusri Hussain for Refreshments and Aflal and Mafaz for their support and work, Umpairs Samir & Nishan for their great service, Faizal Thasim, Gaffordeen (MSG) and Mushtak for their commentary and all others who helped us tremendously to make this event a memorable one. THANK YOU is just two words but it has a world of meaning attached to it. |
