2016 CAP Main Tournament schedule is ready and updatd to review.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello Captains,

We are close to completing the first round of the CAP Cricket Tournament and it is time to start thinking about the mini tournament.

We will continue the same format as the main tournament.
LOGISTICS: Registration fee needs to be paid in full prior to the deadline for the team to be included in the tournament. Each team will bring their own stumps to the matches and there will be no CAP kit provided this year. When the teams arrive for a match, the captains are requested to give the match balls and score sheets to the umpires to carry-out the formalities. (Same as 2015 Main tournament).
The registration if paid after the first week of the start of the games would be an additional $50 (fine) and if paid after second week is $100. Failing to pay even by then would result in exclusion of the team from the tournament. No exceptions.

REPORTING SCORE SHEETS TO COMMITTEE: Captains, similar to the main tournament, we will have a designated person (captains) to collect the score sheet and responsible for updating the scores/points on the website. CAP requests all the captains to take responsibility in completing the score sheets with clear and complete information. Better score reporting will help the committee to track the top performers for recognition and a timely update on the championship statistics. Captains are requested to send a scanned or digital photograph of the completed score sheets to the designated committee member. The name and contact details of this committee member will be provided in a later communication.

Regarding Locking the Ground Gate: Captains of the teams playing in the last slot of the day are responsible for locking the gate. It is our ground and we all have to take responsibility in protecting it. We all did great job last year with very few exceptions. Let’s continue to protect our ground.
