Toronto, May 9, 2016:
Chilled, rain interruption and cold weather could not stop the Burlington Master & Toronto Stragglers from playing annual friendly cricket match at Toronto Cricket skating and curling Club ground.

The Burlington Masters won the toss and elected to bat, Imran Kazmi and Imran Aslam open the inning, however after the 1st over rain started to pour and match stopped for 30 minutes. Toronto Stragglers took full advantage of the weather condition with excellent bowling strategies, Burlington Masters wickets started to fall at regular intervals at one point it was 1 for 20 to 4 for 40, but patient Imran Kazmi, Iqbal Sikander and youngster Zaem Baig who was invited to play as guest to support the Master rescued the team to put a respectable score of 134 in 26 overs. Imran Kazmi (37), Zaem (20) and Iqbal Sikander (17) were the top scorers. Shashir (3), Atul (2), Mohan (2), Asad (1) were the main wicket takers for the TCSCC Stragglers.

In reply, TCSCC started off well with Nasr Khan taking the control of the inning and generating runs quickly, however, after the short interruption by rain, Burlington Master applied the pressure and wicket started to fall quickly TCSCC stragglers were 1 for 35 and all out for 90. Nasr Khan (25), Amish Taploo (12) were the top scorers, while Iqbal Sikander, Mahmood Ahmed, Imran Raja and Salman Sarwar Butt were the main wicket takers with 2 wickets each.
