On Saturday November 21, 2015 Burlington Sports Alliance organized the annual RBC sports day at Haber Recreation Centre. Cricket Burlington participated for the first time in this event. The City of Burlington Mayor Rick Goldring, Member of Provincial Parliament Eleanor McMahon and newly elected Member of Parliament Karina Gould and Burlington Sports Alliance President Janet Foley visited the Booth and appreciated the participation. Cricket Burlington President, Shah Zafar, welcome them and thank their support for the making Cricket Ground at central park a reality and share that in 2016. It was surprise to hear everyone talking about the how popular the cricket is now a days. Cricket Burlington President, shah Zafar was thrilled to see lots of children parents visited the both and conducted the tried out cricket sessions, for those who inquired about the cricket program for youth. Please stay tune as Cricket Burlington has plans for youth cricket and senior cricket in addition to the adult cricket. The official launch of the program will be announced soon. |
