Match 2 Summary Centro Sur:

This is a must win game for GDL1 since losing this match is losing the series for them.
So there was a great expectation from GDL-1 spitting more venom in this game.

Toss won by Vivek from  GDL-2 and elected to bowl first.

First Innings:
Ojas and Asish from GDL-1 opened the innings and as usual Gowtham set the tone as GDL-2 got the breakthrough in just 3 balls into the game.
Yes it was Ojas who returned to pavilion of a LBW by an in-swing delivery from Gowtham.
Next over Lalit did an uncalled field set as per Vivek by bringing in 3rd man to 2nd slip only to prove that was a brilliant move, since Asish tipped the ball straight to the 2nd slip for a duck.
Its a flurry of wickets falling down for GDL-1 as Gowtham and Lalit left no stones un-turned.
3 overs 3 wickets and 8 runs as it was next batsman Vignesh to return the pavilion , so unlucky for him as that delivery from Gowtham came out of nowhere to hit the stumps.
Must be simply wow for the person who was standing at the back of the strikers wickets.
GDL-1 now looks totally demoralized.
Now comes the savior in the name of Mahesh.
In a Venus like situation to bat at this point given the amount of momentum GDL-2 gained ,Mahesh proved otherwise with his calm and cool demeanor.
He just didn't seemed to bother the dominance of GDL-2 and was at his best with his sweet leg drive, glance and flicks.
Mean wile Tom the new face for GDL team turned to be the man with golden arms as the very first over he picked the wicket of Amit by a catch at point by Vivek.
Score now looks 34/4 5 overs. This doesn't stopped Mahesh as he did a smart hook against Tom to send the ball out of boundary for a six.
Mahesh with this innings marked his spot with a brilliant 50 that will go easily as one of the best innings given the situation.
Captain Jagrits struggle to stay longer ended up in vain as he departed for 12.
Sujit joined and didn't stay longer and departed for a duck.
Rufus after sitting 10 overs in dug out seems to be the man assigned with the job for sending Mahesh out for a caught in Muralis hand.
Bravin who proved his mettle in the first match exhibited more consistency by taking 3 wickets before even completing 2 overs.
It was the bowlers realm of the day and from GDL-2 Gowtham and Bravin took 3 wickets each , rest of the bowlers ended with each one.

GDL-1 was 99 all-out with 8 overs to spare.

Second Innings:

Rupesh and Jay opened the innings for GDL-2.
As stated earlier GDL-1 was with more venom as it was quite unlike of captains Jagrits decision to start the  spell himself that too as a fast bowler.
If at one end Jagrit was furious with the pace, on the the other end Shashi defied the law of inertia by simply moving the delivery in and out of the batsman.
This makes Rupesh to shuffle a lot and expose his leg stumps to give away his wicket for a brillian outswinger by Shashi.
Shashi happened to send back the next 2 batsman's Budha and Charan before they are off the mark.
Jay exhibited a meager fight by hitting an eye catching cover drive of Jagrits delivery.
Now Rajnish came to the picture who again similar to his partner(Shashi) defied the law of inertia.
GDL-2 was helpless as they had no choice but only to return back one by one. Rajnish sent back Jay for 9 runs.
Score now looks quite pathetic let alone to chase 5/37 before Lalit played his cameo with couple of exquisite boundaries.
Vivek joined Murali but Rajnish gave him no room to settle but only to send him back for a duck.
Tom happened to teach couple of lessons to the entire team on how to block a pace delivery with solid defense and lazy elegant leg glance.
But he didn't fully aware of what GDL-1 is up to and Jagrit sent him back with an unplayable in-swing yorker.
Gowtham tried his best on his  strong V area before giving his wicket for once again unplayable delivery of Jagrit to end the match as GDL-1 Won.

GDL-2 All out for 68.

GDL-1 pulled out a stunner as a bowling unit, there may be N number of reasons for GDL-2 batsman's as the ball kept low or uneven or whatever.
At the end of the day GDL-1 has their last laugh and rest all are history and reasons for GDL-2.

Now the contest is much better as it is 1-1 , Finger crossed for the decider game on April 28th on the Main ground.
