A phlegmatic and determined batsman, his technique is bottom-handed, dependent on running his wrists through the ball, rather than punching it with his forearms. He manages to make it work by playing late and very close to his body. Likes scoring big runs and the method to his game is pretty straightforward, to first get the eye in before going for the shots. He bowls right randed and is more than handy with the ball and likes bowling quick.
