Here are the rules for the Tournament :
 
  •          All matches will be played with a Hard Tennis Ball.
  •          League match would be played for 15 overs per inning.
  •          It is captain’s responsibility to ensure the availability of team members. In case a team does not have all players in time, then the match will begin with the available number of players.
  •          We will ignore LBW rule for all matches, no runs will be given for leg byes.
  •         For the bowling side, maximum of two bowler can bowl 4 overs and remaining, a maximum of 3 overs each
  •          Free hit for all no-balls.
  •          Extras (Runs): All extras will be counted except for Leg Byes.
  •          Mankad (Running out the non-striker by the bowler) after a warning is valid.

  • Bouncer No ball Rules

  1. One legal bouncer allowed if it’s at shoulder level
  2. Ball passing above head is a wide if batsmen didn’t hit it and also consumes 1 bouncer per overs. If batsmen hit that it just consumes 1 legal bouncer
  3. After legal bouncer is consumed balls above shoulder/head even if batsmen hit that will be called as No ball.
  4. Full toss above hip is a no ball
 
  •          Powerplays :
    •    First 4 overs Max 2 players outside the circle.
  The first four overs of an innings will be a mandatory powerplay, with only two fielders allowed outside the 30-yard circle. Beginning with the fifth over no more than five fielders will be allowed outside the 30-yard circle.
  •          Winning team would fetch 2 points per match.
  •          In case of ties: following factors will be considered in order to decide who goes to finals.
    •    Maximum net run rate.
    •    Minimum number of wickets.
    •    Maximum number of sixes.
    •    Maximum number of fours.
  •          In case of a washout due to rains, both the teams share a point each.
    •    A minimum of 7 overs in the second innings are required to be bowled in order to constitute a match (Else, it’s a draw and the points will be shared).
    •    In case the match is abandoned after the minimum amount of required overs in the second innings are bowled, the Duckworth Lewis method will be applied in order to decide the winner for the match.
  •          Umpires decision will be final.
 
Note:  Any specific rules considering the ground will be discussed and brought to the captains’ notice.

Toss Time            :               7:00 AM
Match Starts      :               7:30 AM
 
Second match of the day :
Toss Time            :               9:30 AM
Match Starts      :               10:15 AM
