Dear Cricket Lovers of Michigan, This is your Shahid Malik and I am very excited to announce a new beginning. I had always wanted to give back something to the cricketers of Michigan and what else could be best than creating another opportunity for all of us to continue to play cricket in the short summers we have in Michigan. I have been working with a bunch of like-minded individuals and sponsors and the outcome is a new week day Cricket League for cricketer lovers called "Detroit Super League". The league was launched by Mr. Salman Butt on April 20th 2018 during an inaugural dinner event with teams that has already pledged to play in this league during weekdays. Detroit Super League is grateful to all the Cricket Lovers in Michigan who are supporting our initiative and hence this League is designed exclusively for any or all cricketers who are playing in any Michigan based league or club, we believe that this League will bring more hunger and craving for qualitatively organized and competitive cricket in Michigan.
