Blues Crush Strikers

In an early match Saturday morning Strikers a very strong team, who made it to playoffs almost all the tournaments they played were facing undefeated and ferocious Blues. Never did they think that they will be outplayed in all the departments. Blues batting first put a mammoth 160 runs. Opening partnership between Agastya (77) and Praneeth (44) was of 115 runs. The score was furthered by a quick 30 from Bhagwanth. I am not sure of all the records in FCA but the partnership of 115 seems like a record. Chasing the total Strikers lost early wickets and were bowled out to a humble total of 65 with best contribution from Praveen 23 runs. Strikers a sleeping giant will be back with aggression and fury upon their next opponent. Watch out for their next match. Blues bowled well with Kranthi taking 4 wickets.

Royals are back with a win

Royals who are participating in FCA after a long time played against Eagles last weekend. Batting first Royals was able to put 137 runs on board with good contribution by Pinak (16), Faisal A (19), Sushil(18) and Venkatesh (50). Chasing the target Murali, Binil and Silus made a good contribution cruising towards winning moments until Silus getting run out at 27 which made them struggle in lower order. Eagles were able to score 127 out of 20 overs giving a tough fight to Royals. Congratulations Royal on your first win and hoping to see Eagles bouncing back with a huge win next game.

First win for 22 Balls

After winning the toss 22 balls put Jax Titans to bat first. The decision was proving to be good until Jignesh P and Krishna Kiran got 40 runs partnership helping their team to be in strong position followed by Anji and Ramakrishna who powered the score board to 127 runs. Chasing 127, 22 balls lost their top order batsman in first over, however it was Mohammed Ali who scored 38 of 43 balls and Hareesh Veeravalli 36 of 33 balls, routed their team towards win. It was a good compettetive game and could have gone either way. It was 22’s day and they emerge winners. Jax Titans will regroup as they have some time until next match and will try and convert close matches to a Win.

Warriors XI clinches a nail biter

RBCC and Warriors XI face each other in a very close match that went to the wire and XI emerged winners. RBCC batted first and were scoring at a steady pace. The Chandra and fired a rapid 38 from 23 balls to help reach a score of 117. Partha from XI bowled with quick pace, took 2 wickets and gave only 10 runs. Chasing a good total XI got a good start from Senthilkumar. They going at a good rate but lost quick wickets in succession. They were trailing at 85 for 8 at 17th over. Then came Vinoth and Mandar. As they say its never over till its over. They took a probable victory from RBCC away. Vinoth hit two 6s and Mandar hit another 6 to seal the win for XI. They chased the total with 2 balls to spare. Senthikumar was MOM for his allround performance.
