RP Rockers to play Royals in first Quarters: Throughout this tournament RP Rockers eased in winning games either chasing or defending the targets. Winning 4 matches RP Rockers was the first team to secure their place in playoffs. They have a good combination of players in all departments, more than half of their team played equal role in getting a win against opposition. Royals in their comeback tournament did very well so far. They looked like a complete unit in all departments and have a mix of players who can take the game away. Spotlight: For RP Rockers, Anthony and Saminathan are the top performers. Both are all-rounders’ and are in good form. Anupam is the leading wicket taker for RP with a very lean economy. If these players perform then you know where the game goes. For Royals Bala, Sushil Venky and Pinak are the inform players who can bring easy victory. Bala is the leading batsman and he seems to be in sublime form. Sushil and Venky share 17 wickets in 9 matches. This will be very interesting and competitive game. Buckle up.
Ferocious Blues to face Gigantic Strikers: This would be the top pick out of all matches for entertainment value this weekend. A composed combination of batting and bowling Blues will be ready to repeat the magic that they performed on Strikers during league stage. But Strikers are rushing towards finals scoring huge scores and with the batting order they have, no score is a defendable. These 2 teams played their first league match against each other where Blues showed their superiority in all departments crushing Strikers. Since then it was strikers who started defeating all in form teams securing their place in play-offs. Strikers dethroned the top seeded Royals to secure a place in playoffs. Will strikers look for a pay back? I would say yes it’s definitely revenge time and that’s one more good reason why this match falls under entertainer. Throughout the tournament Strikers made sure to give everyone ultimate entertainment and I am sure they will again. Spotlight: Kotesh was Strikers authentic package in this tournament, he followed the ball with his bat with an impressive display. Blue’s nuke Bhagwant is another all-rounder blasting the ball in every possible way by scoring runs and taking wickets. Battle between these two will be entertainment at its best. Bhargav and Ravi are another hit opening combination for strikers, whereas Kranti G is in top form picking wickets with low economy. Hemanth from Blues is a surprise package as he bailed them in a crunch match against Outsiders. Anand T is another bowler who confuses the bowler with his mixed pace and swing and on other side Blues Openers Agastya and Praneeth have given some good starts in the league stages. So if you want to witness some High Voltage match drink less on Saturday night and wake up early morning and supporting your favorite team. Who is going to win? Will have to wait.
ImpeccableRaiders to play Southside: I am sure Southside are getting ready to pull in all weapons from their arsenal this weekend against Raiders after their loss last weekend with same team. Guessing Praful their main pace bowler and opener Sanjay will be joining the team. Southside are a side with a lot of experience and passion. Led by Sudheer it will be test for both bowler and batsman alike as they are facing a very strong team. Raiders after an average performance last season are back on top and they look like a complete unit. It will be a tough challenge to both the teams to emerge winner here. Spotlight: Bharat who is their first down batsmen is scoring runs faster than the speed he bowls will make their team most aggressive. Having most experience players like Sudhir, Amit, Kirthi, Srinath, Punit Southside will be bringing their best against Raiders. On the other hand Raiders will be looking forward to continue their momentum. Nazzy leading the team from front has really good combination to execute his plans. Ravi, Indra, Pappi are in supreme form, while bowling trio of Nazy, Ravi and Faisal have 31 wickets among them. Sunny Sunday afternoon is where they clash and let’s hope to see some good cricket.
Finalists to face Young Blood: Last season finalists are all set to face energetic 22 balls this Sunday. Few things are given like me getting rejected by a girl on first date and Kaatans will be in play-off’s if there is any tournament. A very strong all round team with huge victories in the league stage will look to move forward against younger 22. The young guns are proving a strong formidable team with extreme zeal and energy. Addition of Shakthi has changed the dynamics of the team. Spotlight: Best all-rounder for Group B Rajbabu K of Kaatans is flying high scoring runs and taking wickets. Both teams have a good opening pair of batting and bowling. Sakthivel is the key to 22’s success. He is their top performer in all departments. It will be Ali, Quadeer vs Chandra, Rajbabu or Rakesh, Hareesh vs Rajkumar, Rahul. This will be another interesting match to look out for, get your chairs under the shades. Chilled drinks will be provided by 22 balls and Kaatans ;) and be prepared for a bumpy ride.
