Congratulations Islamabad United - PGL 2018 Champions

Peshwar Zalmi Finished the series on 3rd with 6 points equaling to Runners up Lahore Qalandars Whome NRR Was the highest among all so they Qualified for the final. 

Karachi Kings are the Number 4 team but the only team Who beat two time the Champions of PGL Islamabad United. No other team then the Karachi Kings was able to beat them in a single match.

Tayyab ! ...  I believe IU made simple strategy to stick with their big guns and executed it very well.
LQ were underdogs but played exceptionally due to outstanding performance of Waqar, Hassan and exemplary discipline and unity.
PZ were hot favorites and played like champions but got unlucky on second day.
KK showed good performance and determination on day one by beating IU twice but their batting couldn’t click on second day at all.
But it was a new format, I believe we all felt pressure and heat of such competition. So much fun 😍

 Dr. Faisal Sogmi​ !...  Amazing tournament .. it was such a well organised event . Though everyone played competitive cricket & gave their best to beat the opponents , the level of discipline & camaraderie exhibited was simply awesome..had a wonderful 2 days wd all the wonderful people .. special thanks to Waseem Bhai , Dr Mahmood, Qayoom Bhai , Alamdar Bhai , Mehtab Bhai , my captain Shahid Bhai , Asim Bhai & all other friends who made this a memorable event ..

Asim Malik !. All teams played very well and  have given their best. This is a game where every team has two options loosing or winning, however ultimate goal is to play with joy, spirit and energy positively and all teams has shown the same momentum in this format.
On top of this, every single player has enjoyed every moment and left the field after closing ceremony with happy face and of course with hope of having such a great moment again and again. 
Thanks once a again to Organizers and every single individual who contributed his efforts to make it successful. 
I would say that IU played very well and sensibly in Final although LQ team was more stronger...IU has emerged same like Pakistani team had done in 92 worldcup and they deserve it. Whereas PZ had played very well today in both matches but due to some circumstances not winning against IU. 
KK is good team but couldn't perform well today in ground 1 due to some reasons.
At last but not least, I would say again it was wonderful event.

Shahid Amin "PGL was a great experience and fun for all. Everyone try to give his best. Really appreciated the efforts made by our beloved brother Dr. Waseem to arrange this kind of event. All teams played at their level best. At the end of the day Islamabad united take the lead, a big hand for them.  And also great comeback by Lahore qalandar after loosing first match against Peshawar zalmi. Overall amazing activity.  Congrats to all participants. "👏👏👍👍

Imran!..... Over All, all of guys deserve for congratulations to make this event memorable and specifically Organisers! specially DWRK AND  DNM, always lead by DWRH, he is so outstanding and taking care every aspect of the event, may ALLAH give health and wealth to all of you guys and specifically these angels Drs,  they are always taking first step for helping our community, MashsHALLAH!
