All standard cricketing rules will be applicable for this tournament except free hit and LBW. ( Free hit is applicable only during the finals) The tournament will be played on league basis. The team shall consist of maximum of 25 players (11 + 14 only) and with residence card numbers. The teams may register with the players at hand with a minimum of 12 players and on later stage as and when required they may fill up the gap of 25 at any point of time.The names of the players should be produced to the committee members in their respective groups. This league will have an Impact player for every match. The impact player will be the 12 man. He can play during the first innings or during the second innings. He acts as a playing substitute where he can bat or bowl.A player will be allowed to represent only one team. The umpire’s decision
will be final. Umpires on the other hand should be fair in giving their decision.
Please make sure that the Umpires who are officiating a match should know
all the rules and regulations of a Cricket match. Captains should make a note
while allowing a player to do the umpiring.
All teams are requested to upload every players photo in the website for clear
identification. Players will not be allowed to play if the individual player photo
is not uploaded.
The team Captain, at any point of time can check the resident card, License
copy or passport copy of any player during the course of a match. If the player
is not able to produce the resident card copy, he is not eligible to play.
In case of any dispute on field, only the captain will interfere to discuss the issue
with the umpire along with the opponent captain. No players will interfere in any
discussion what so ever it may be in the field. This message should be conveyed to
the players by the respective team Captains.
All teams are requested to report 15 minutes before the scheduled match
time. If a team does not turn up for the match, a walk over would be given to
the opponent team. Please call and inform any of the committee members to
take a decision.
In case of a Tie, Super over as per rules would come into effect. If case if the
first super over gets into a tie again, the super over would be repeated.
Forfeiting of matches are not allowed. Those teams who forfeit the match
would not be awarded with zero points.
As per the ICC rules, Mankading is allowed, but let’s play a fair game of Cricket.
This is a T16 league and the power play will be applicable for the first 5 overs.
There will be 6 players in the 30-yard circle during the power play. (bowler
and keeper are not counted) After the power play, 4 players would be allowed
to field inside the 30-yard circle, wicket keeper and bowler not counted. If
your team is playing with 9 players, then for the power play only one player is
allowed in the boundary area and after the power play, only 3 three would be
allowed in the boundary and likewise.
A team should use 5 bowlers which is compulsory and only one bowler can
bowl 4 overs.
If a bowl breaks during the course of game, the ball would be considered a
dead ball and the bowler has to re-ball again. The ball could be changed after 8
overs only if the skin of the ball comes out or not visible or else the match has
to continue with the same ball.
If the match is affected by rain or other natural calamities, and could not
continue the match, then both the teams would be given one point each.
All teams should bring their own Tennex ball (yellowish green) for the
matches.
The Organizing committee recommends all team Captains to use the online
live scoring App ( Cricclubs) for easy scoring and having clarity on the scores.
Make it mandatory to use the scoring APP. You may need to download the
Cricclubs app and login using the same user ID and password provided by the
Admins. If you don’t have a password, please contact us to get one, and you
need to send us your email ID. One team member could be added as team
admin. They can share the password among your team members. Only one
member from a team should ask for clarification and this is to avoid repeating
the same answer to the same team member.
The organizing committee has the right to disqualify any player or team at
any point of time, if the team does not follow the rules and regulations of the
league and also if any Man handling is happening during the field on the
course of the match.
There will be 2 groups, Ghala and Seeb and the schedule will be prepared
.accordingly
.Each team will play against a side once in group matches
The committee will schedule the matches and announce them in their
respective groups. All the scoring details could be viewed in the website. All
teams are requested to post their scoring details after the match in the group.
Teams are requested not to cancel the matches after the schedule is posted in
the groups. If you are not playing the league match, please make sure to
inform the committee in advance. Please don’t inform us while preparing the
schedule. Teams will be given a walk over if a team is not playing after
scheduling the match.
There will be a registration fees of R.O 25 which will be the league fees and
should be transferred to the account number which will be provided in the
group. Teams will be included in the schedule only after paying the
registration fees. Registration fees in not re-fundable at any point of time. This
registration fees would be utilized for cash award, trophies website
maintenance and other expenses related to the tournament. Please note that
there are no financial benefits for the organizer in this league. This is for
supporting Cricket and only cricket.
We will post the full fixtures of the tournament once the registration is
complete. This will give you a correct picture of how many teams will qualify
to the second round and then after how the game would proceed.
Teams with ground, if they are not playing a particular match should give the
ground to the league so that the teams who don’t have a ground gets a match.
This is for the smooth functioning of the league.
