“Hanyang Warriors” is a squad of dynamic, enthusiastic and passionate cricket lovers. We
established an official team in 2014. Though the name indicates Hanyang warriors, it
basically consistconsists of bunch of players from other universities like including Konkuk,
Korea, Donguuk, Sejong, etc. and some industrial employees as well. They travel all the way
and comes to Hanyang University on every weekend just to nourish their passion for cricket.
Only bond that brought us all together is “Cricket”. We enjoyed the playing cricket, over this
our friendship also grown to a great extent. This team is not only passionate about cricket, but also we do value the relationship and friendship. We fought each other, we argued each other, we criticize each other nevertheless we are a strong competitive team that have a strength to beat any opponent under any circumstances.
We participated in almost all the tennis ball tournament across Korea e.g. IIKPC, TSC-
ID Cup, KPL, GCC and our very own HPCC. We were the semifinalist in IIKPC-2016, GCC-
2017 and 3 rd placeholder in TSC ID Cup-2017. Another remarkable achievement is we are the defending champions of HPCC (HPCC-2017).
Our passion for Cricket was further extended to organizing HPPC in 2016. The two
seasons of HPCC achieved great success in providing a competitive platform for Cricket
lovers along with a pleasant occasion for gathering Indians together. Like previous years,
with all your enormous support, we are organizing third edition of HPCC (HPCC 3.0) and
looking forward to yet another successful chapter. We expect similar support from all the
participant teams and accompanying audience.
We hope a grand success for “HPCC 2018’’. See you all tomorrow on the field …..!
