The match started around 9:00 AM and was completed around 1:00 PM. IBL won the toss and elected to bat. Raghu and Yasar opened the bowling for CRK and they both kept the hard hitting Bulls openers Mangesh and Achal on check. Lack of runs in first couple of overs paved way for some run outs. Achal was the first one to go and the next over Mangesh was caught short by a quick pick up and throw from Simranjeet Singh. Binu and Vinod fell soon after and CRK put more pressure by picking Rajesh?s wicket before the break. While almost all their top order batsman back in the hut, Bulls were reeling at 49/6 in 15 overs with Biren holding one end cautiously looking to put up a decent total with the help of their lower order batsmen. He played some lusty blows in the second half and was out in the 29th over setting a target of 125 for CRK to chase. CRK raced through the chase scoring at will during the power play and beyond, finishing the game in the 15th over. Siva was at his best scoring 58 runs and Parvath on the other end was watchful and made 38 not out. Biren Desai of Iowa Bulls was awarded man of the match award for his valiant 79 which gave bulls tad of a hope to bowl at CRK. The match was played in very good spirit.
