Please read all the rules carefully while registering
Team format:
1. Maximum of 13 players per squad. Squad must be submitted while registering. 2. 11 players in a team for a match. 3. Registration fees is $50 per team. 4. At least 8 player should be present to start the match. 5. Walk over will be awarded to the opposition team if a team fails to report to the ground 15 mins after the scheduled start time. 6. Player should be registered for only one team. 7. Only current ASU students are eligible to participate. 8. Playing member of the team is required to present ASU sun card before the start of match, else player won't be allowed to play. 9. Every player should be registered before match, to be eligible to play.
Disqualification Rules:
1. For every match particular neutral team will be given an umpiring assignment. Failure to oblige to duty will result in disqualification of umpiring team. 2. Organizers decision will be final to the word. 3. Failure to provide correct player details will result in disqualification of team.
Ground Rules:
1. 50 yards (150 feet) boundaries. 2. 22 yards (66 feet) pitch length. 3. 40 inches length from middle stump (lateral) for wide marking at batting end. 4. 48 inches length from middle stump (longitudinal) for crease marking at both ends. 5. 48 inches length from middle stump (lateral) at bowling end. 6. 30 yards inner circle restricting minimum of 3 fielders inside.
Other rules:
1. Game will be played with a tape wrapped tennis balls for consistent bounce. 2. Extra runs to be awarded in the form of wide balls, no balls, overthrows, byes with the exception of leg byes. 3. Two beamers in a single over directed towards batsman will lead to dismissal of over and bowler won’t be allowed to bowl further in the match on the delivery of the third beamer. 4. One bouncer per over, above the shoulder is allowed. Second bouncer in the same over above shoulder will be considered as no ball. 5. No ball for over-stepping will result in free hit for next ball. 6. Umpire's decision will be final on all on-ground matters. 7. In case of a tie, super over decides the outcome. 8. In case of tie in the points table during the tournament, NRR will be used for deciding the winner. 9. In case of rain, we will try our best to reschedule to a later time. In case, where rescheduling is impossible points will be equally divided in between both playing teams. 10. The teams must show up on the allotted time. Failure to do so will be considered a walk over for the other team.
