Infosys Blues Vs Infosys Blacks

Infosys Blues won the toss and elected to bat first. But the start did not go according to plan. They lost wicket in the very first ball and was under tremendous pressure. Sreejith Murali and sekhar got out in the 3rd over and was reduced to 13 for 3. Then came the blasting innings from Vivek who scored the maiden half century of the tournament. His fifty came in just 23 balls and included 6 monstrous sixes and 2 fours. Eventually Blues scored 77 runs in the allocated 10 overs. Vipin and Boopathi took 4 and 3 wickets respectively.

Nithin and Siva opened the bowling for Blues and their immaculate line and length contained the Black's batsmen. Blacks were not able to keep up with the required run rate and kept loosing wickets at regular intervals. They were bowled out in 8.3 overs and could score only 40 runs. Sreejith Murali took the last 3 wickets in his 2th over and gifted us the first hat trick and first 5 wicket haul of the tournament.
