Updates
-After a good long-weekend, we are gearing up for week-4 league stage.
-There had been some concerns our Umpires faced in last few games. If a player misbehaves with Umpire for decision (they have right to ask in an acceptable behavior but ensure not to argue), Umpires can immediately call the captain and let him know about the player's misbehavior. Now it's captain job to manage his team behavior and if he can't then he must face actions against his team. In worst situation team may be forfeited.
Please note that we all have created the Umpiring Panel, So everyone has to give their best to come on-time and respectUmpiring Decision as it is FINAL decision. Judgement flaws occurs, we all are human but now there is process to ensure umpiring improves and decision making is uniformed.
-Captains, please note that waiver forms for new players must be submitted to umpires before match otherwise Umpire may stop him from playing the match or if found later Board can take strict actions
-Trophies have arrived, so Man of the Match trophies will be given this weekend for current and past matches as well

You acknowledge that you have voluntarily applied to participate in activities of playing cricket organized by Iowa Premier League

YOU ARE AWARE THAT THESE ACTIVITIES ARE HAZARDOUS ACTIVITIES AND THAT I COULD BE SERIOUSLY INJURED OR EVEN KILLED. YOU ARE VOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATING IN THESE ACTIVITIES WITH KNOWLEDGE OF THE DANGER INVOLVED, AND AGREE TO ASSUME ANY AND ALL RISKS OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, WHETHER THOSE RISKS ARE KNOWN OR UNKNOWN.

As consideration for being permitted by the Iowa Premier League and its representatives
to participate in these activities and use the ground and facilities, You forever release the Iowa Premier League, its President, executive Committee, Volunteers and Representatives (collectively “Releasees”) from any and all actions, claims, or demands that You, your assignees, heirs, distributees, guardians, next of kin, spouse and legal representatives now have, or may have in the future, for injury, death, or property damage, related to (i) your participation in these activities, (ii) the negligence or other acts, whether directly connected to these activities or not, and however caused, by any Releasee, or (iii) the condition of the premises where these activities occur, whether or not you are then participating in the activities. You also agree that You, your assignees, heirs, distributees, guardians, next of kin, spouse and legal representatives will not make a claim against, sue, or attach the property of any Releasee in connection with any of the matters covered by the foregoing release.

If Signed by Parent or Guardian: You verify that the dangers of the activities and the significance of this Release and Waiver were explained to the Participant and that the Participant understood them.
