LHCL Rules & Regulations: Players are responsible for their own well being and health conditions and playing at their own risk, by participating in this league all the teams and players are here by agreeing to adhere the following rules and regulations. 

Home Ground Concept:
This is strictly enforced in the LHCL, Teams here scouted for grounds and played there for years to make a pitch and have proper playing conditions, No other team can initiate or schedule a game in some other team’s home ground, any team not following this will be terminated from the LHCL with all due respect. New team’s please scout for open grounds and announce your home ground for the LHCL and add it to your team in the LHCL Cricclubs portal to avoid conflicts with other new teams.

Format: 
T20 - Min of 16Ov game to be counted towards the points table. Cricclubs D/L method can be used when eligible to determine the winners, but the game still have to be a 16+ Ov fixture at the start of the first innings. If the game is cancelled due to poor weather or wet ground conditions, points will be split between the teams only if at least half of the first innings is complete. 

Umpiring: 
Batting team does the umpiring, Main umpire can override Leg umpires decisions. Umpiring errors are prone to occur but please play fair when umpiring and set example to other players to have a healthy league. Umpire have to be changed if the bowling team captain finds 2 conflict decisions with the umpire. Only captains & vice captains can discuss with the umpire for any conflict in decisions, other players please talk to your captain and do not put pressure on the umpire. 

Game Balls:
Nivia Green Hard Tennis is the default - Nivia Red Tennis Ball (Optional if both team agrees). One New ball per innings - Batting team to provide the New ball at the start of the innings. If the ball is lost during the game, try to replace it with a similar conditioned ball from previous games. If you lost the ball with in the first 4 Overs, you have to use a new ball and Batting team have to provide replacement balls if we lose them during the game.

Player Count:
LHCL by default goes with the Impact player rule to give more players opportunity to play. If one team comes with only 11 players, the other team can still play with 11 + 1 Impact by default.

Game Delays:
Game Delay by 10 minutes - Team with less than 8 players on field will lose the Toss at 11th min, if both team doesn’t have 8 players, you will have to go for the Toss. Game Delay by 20+ minutes, the team arrived on time(min of 8 players) will make a call on the number of overs per innings(Can’t be lower than T16). 

Home & Away Team:
Home team will setup the field, and responsible for stumps, cones, paint spray. Away team should help picking up cones from the ground after the game.

Other rules:
First 6 Overs will be the powerplay
No leg byes allowed, Byes are ok
Dimensions: 66’ Pitch & 165’ Boundaries where feasible.

Player Ban:
Healthy banter is always fun in the field but No abusive or foul language is encouraged and the player can be banned from the league if reported guilty on 2 or more occasions by different teams.
