Lankans Champions League Lankans Champions League Cricket tournament is initiated by a group of youngsters from Lion Strikers Cricket Club and Lightning Lions Cricket Club. The tournament is held amongst the Sri Lankan hard ball tennis cricket teams in Kuwait. The tournament is held in order to bring forward the Sri Lankan talents to limelight. The tournament will be held across eight teams divided into two groups in the initial league stage. Two teams will move to semi-finals from each group and then the winner in the semi-finals will meet in the final encounter. Each innings will consist of 15 overs with a maximum of 3 overs limit per bowler. Neutral umpires will be appointed to officiate all the matches. Prize money will be handed over to the winners and the runners-up of the tournament. Man of the match will be selected from semi-final round. Awards for Man of the Series, Best Batsman and Best Bowler are to be awarded at the conclusion of the final match. All registered participants will be awarded a certificate of participation. |
