Music City Cricket League 2016 kicks off with 11 teams competing for the honors. Few highlights of this season :- 
  1. Addition of four new teams
  2. Addition of a new ground at MTSU which has astro turf, scoreboard, and a beautiful pavilion
  3. Colored clothing, white balls, and color pads
  4. 13 registered umpires, out of that 3 are MCCL board umpires.
  5. Addition of Fairplay award 
  6. Uniforms for umpires 
  7. Super over for all tied games ( League games and playoffs)
