* Teams are ranked based on their points after the number of games each team played by the week of 9/18/2016
*At the conclusion of games, Umpires are providing match report to the board with points assigned to each team. 10 being the highest and 1 being the lowest. Teams are ranked as per the umpire ranking points for fairplay. Fairplay award will be awarded to the highest ranking team at the end of the season.

Week 16 - Finals was played on 9/18/16. NCA won the toss and elected to bat on a humid day. FCC bowled a discplined line for the first 10 overs to restrict NCA to 60/2.Madan then took it upon him to up the run rate by launching in to FCC attack but couldn't sustain for long, he scored a quick fire 33. While FCC continued to chip away with wickets, Srimanth continued to build his innings. NCA upped the run rate in the last four overs, they scored 134 runs in the last 10 overs. In response, FCC counter attacked from ball one and raced to a great start. Venkat, Harish and Amit Paul Singh were exceptional in executing their game plan and within no time FCC were 86/3 in 10 overs but then came Sidhu Singh Varinder, who bowled exceptional line and length to not only control the run flow but took his first ever 5 for. In the process he went on to become the best bowler of the tournament. It was a very competitive game between an established club and an upcoming club. Special mention to MCCL board umpires Karthi Sriramulu and Kumar Thumu who officiated this high pressure game without any issues. Cricket is Nashville is not only growing but it is also creating an envrionment for individuals to learn and grow as players, umpires and administrators.

Week 15 - It was an eventful weekend for all semi finalist. Semi finals between NCA and NCC was a gripping contest where both teams fought it out to their best of their ability with NCA coming out as eventual winners but semi final between FCC and MGCC was unfortunately forfeited due to many issues during the game.MGCC forfeited the semi final declaring FCC as winners. FCC will now play NCA in the finals on Sep 17th, 10:00 a.m at Whites Creek.

Week 14 -   Following teams qualify for semi-finals - NCA, FCC, MGCC, and NCC

Week 12, 13 - Major highlights from these weekends has been a breathtaking century by Madan Addala from NCA. He scored 78% of his teams score by scoring 144 off 71 balls with 5 4's and 17 6's. Following Teams have qualified for Quater finals - NCA, MGCC, FCC, NCG, NCC, QCC, Royal Strikers and KCCN.

Week 9, Week 10,  and Week 11  - Major highlight from these weekends of action is Zameer from MTSU hitting 6 sixers in one over. He played a lonely hand in his teams losing cause. All teams are fighitng it out  to finish in the top 8  before the conclusion of league phase in the next two weekends. Special mention to all the Umpires for being on time to all the games and running the games without any issues. Other than few minor incidents over the course of 11 weeks, league has been running without any hiccups. Thanks to all the players for displaying excellent code of conduct on field.

Week 8 -  Gokul from FCC balsts 69 to lead his team to victory against QCC and Kishore Nidiganti  taking a hatrick, Sidhu from NCA scores a rapid 96 from just 44 balls with 11 sixers to help NCA post a mammoth 203 in 20 overs, Colin from NCG chips in with 51 and 1 wicket to take NCG to victory over RS. Finally, in a low scoring thriller MGCC go past NCC to gain two points. That sums up a wonderful week of cricket in Music City Cricket League. Due credit to all the umpires who are doing an excellent job in running the games in a well organized and friendly environment for all the participanting players and spectators at the ground. 

Week 7 -  QCC, NCC, MGCC, Royal Strikers and NCA emerge as victorious teams from this week. Exciting games all round with Vamsee from RS claiming 4 wickets for 5 runs in 2.2 overs, Satish Patel from TN Thunders scoring a 50, Bimal from NCG taking 4 wickets, Sivkumar Mohan from QCC scoring a quick fire 44.

Week 6 - It was exciting week of cricket with games at both grounds. Whites creek witnessed 9 wicket haul by Srimanth and MTSU witnessed 6 wicket haul by Sandeep Patel from MGCC. While bowlers had their say, batsman from FCC and NCG put up huge scores on board. Harish from FCC posted 81 and Hemanth blasted a quick fire 61 against KCCN. Jacob George from KCCN was the only batsman who stood tall during their chase.  In other game, NCG posted 195 in 20 overs against CCC.

Week 5 - NCA win 3 out of their 3 games. Royal Strikers vs KCCN was a very competitve game with Royal Strikers winning a close game by 6 runs.

Week 4  - MCCL witnessed low scoring games, all the four participating teams produced low scoring competitive games on a hot humid day.

Week 1 to 3  - MCCL 2016 has completed three weeks of exciting cricket. Each week witnessed something special from the participating players. League already witnessed a centurion in Srimanth Brindavanam from NCA with 130 not out. In other low scoring rain affected roller coaster game (FCC vs TN Thunders) that used D/L method for result. Big hitting from Zaheer Lodhi 49(23) and Irfan Nasim 65( 26) for NCC against NCG.
