Match 8: Sonics v BakersIn a tournament primarlily dominated by batsman so far, this match was a aberration where bowlers came to the fore. Fantastic performance by Bakers seam bowlers ensured that Sonics were wrapped up on 71 in the 16th over. KKN took 3 wickets and was ably supported by Neeraj and other bowlers. Mantesh fought well from Sonics but enough support was lacking from other batsmans to post something substantial. Bakers openers Mirza and Sendhil batted sensibly all the way through and ensured an easy win with a 61 run partnership. |
