MATCH 10: St. HELENS V RAINIERSMarred by absence of key players, St. Helens suffered a big defeat at the hands of Rainiers.It was one of the most one sided match of the tournament so far with Rainiers wrapping up the target of 48 runs in under 6 overs. Maheshwar absolutely remarkable bowling figures of (4O-3M-2R-4W) wrecked the Helens innnings and restricted them to 47 . Mahesh joined the party in batting too and match was over in quick time. Rainiers virtually qualified for Semi-finals with this win(barring any major surprises in this group B) as there run rate got a huge boost. Mahesh topped the player rankings for now with exceptional performance in this match.St. Helens had a tough tournament with limited resoruces in team but nicely led by their captaiin Dhruva ,they fought well all along and showed a lot of sportsman spirit in all 3 matches |
