MATCH 11: STUARTS V BAKERSIn a crucial group C match, where fortunes swung both sides, it look a blinder of an innings from Bakers captain Neeraj to ensure Bakers their 2nd consecutive win of MCL. Batting first Stuarts batted in a stable manner with Chaitanya keeping the innings together with a good innings (27*). Bakers Ashu bowled well to take 3 top order wickets with KKN economical 4 overs kept a lid on the scoring. Target of 87 was an average score for MCL and Bakers started well with a partnership of 33 for 1st wicket but then lost way to lose 5 quick wickets . In the end, Neeraj came to rescue and blasted 39 of 28 balls to take his team home. This loss also nearly ended the hopes of Stuarts reaching the S/Fs |
