MATCH 12: SONICS V OLYMPUSAfter a loss in first match, this was a must win match for Sonics to stay in the hunt for Semis and that motivation showed in the performance . Manjunath, Nagaraj and Nitin from Sonics displayed an allround effort in both batting and bowling which helped Sonics post a competitive total of 88 and then restrict the Olympus to just 67 to register an easy win.Nagaraj brilliant inning of 42 runs helepd in top the batting charts .Olympus were off colour today and barring partship between Srinkat and Pramod, Olympus never got going in batting and lost wickets at regular intervals. Still Olympus have a chance to redeem themselves in their final match. |
