Hello All, Several teams ask me to write weekly summary of the League Status like I was doing last year. It makes league interesting. Writing every week could be difficult, but, I 'll try to write few times whenever I get the time and something happen really interesting like last week season first century made by new player of Deccan Blitz " Shahewar Ali". So lets review teams and players performance and their standing in 2016 MDCL so far. As I mentioned at the start of the league that this year few teams will surprise all and it is happening same. So let me start with teams ranking after 4 weeks of the games. Surprisingly, Macomb Striker is unbeaten so far and leading the league with solid standing on the top. Mahi Masud introduced this team last year and they appeared as an average performance team, but, this year Masud made sure his team play like a Champ. Tigers and Last year champion MGCC are coming back stable after losing their first game.Det Royal under Tayef and Reza leadership is showing good comeback after two years gap. Tayef and Ali Reza both leading their team with their best performances. BD Boyz, Det Warriors, and new team Deccan Blitz are close to each other. BD Boyz is another average team from last year is showing much better performance this year. Junak is doing good job to run this team stronger this year. Rebels, Killers , Det Badshah and Challengers are showing below par performance so far. But those teams have high potential to come back. Det Lions, MCC and Panthers still need to wake up. I am not sure when Panthers will react like Panthers. They have good players this year but result is same like last year. Saravan (Panthers Captain) wants to change his team name, because he thinks it is a curse from somebody on his team with this name  .In players ranking, Tayef and Jaber are leading close as MVP. In batting, Sami Haq (BD Boyz) is on the top from last few weeks. Bowling top positions are captured by Ronni (Rebels) on top with 10 wickets followed by Nahid (Det Royals) and Asif (MGCC) with 9 wkts. All top performers are good, but, my pick of the week is "Shahewar Ali (Deccan Blitz)" whose maiden century stun everybody, that was his first game in MDCL, he came and showed his skills. Lets see if he can maintain same level in future games or may get caught by other moderate but consistent performers in the league. It took me an hour to write it. Therefore, I have to stop here and will meet you guys again next week. If I miss any obvious performer, please accept my apology, because there are so many, but, to cover everybody may need so many pages. I would suggest to all teams and players that this is our MDCL forum, therefore, feel free to write in this forum or write me directly about any player you think deserve to be part of my review.
