WE ARE HOLDING MINI-TOURNAMENT (MT) ON SUNDAY 8TH NOVEMBER 2015. This is a MHCC Intra-club “fun-eat-play” social event. Shorter format, shorter boundaries with usually 3-4 teams[tbd] contesting depending on number of participants. SO WHAT IS IT ?? • A family fun-filled cricketing event with rules that encourage contributions from most of the team members to bat, bowl and not just field. • Tournament starts with breakfast & some gup-shup, so guys just need to show up. • Followed immediately with face-off between 2 of the 3 teams. • The 3rd team will umpire for this first match. • The loosing team of the first match faceoff with the 3rd team with the winner of the first match take the role of umpiring. • Based on the results of the 2 matches, the final match is decided. • Each team gets to play 2 matches. THAT’S JUST CRICKET, WHAT ELSE ?? •Lunch And Prize Distribution •Lunch • This is a family event, so arrangements have been made for family members to join hopefully before or during the finals. • Spicy hot biryani and pizza for kids will be waiting to be consumed. • Above all, enjoy each others company. •Prize distribution • Members will be recognized for their star performances in the following categories. • Best Batsman - across 3 matches. • Best Bowler - across 3 matches. • Best Fielder - across 3 matches. • Winning team trophy. • Medals for winning team members & participation's. |
