Rules & Regulations
 
Other  than  the  Tournament  specific  rules  stated  herein,  the  conduct  of  this  Tournament  shall  be governed  by  normal  and  the  current  limited  over  International  Cricket  rules.    However,  Organizing Committee reserves    the    right    to    alter    these    regulations    as    deemed    fit    in    exceptional circumstances   and   the corresponding decision by Organizing Committee shall be final.
 
GENERAL RULES
 
1.   MFC Premier League (MFCPL) will be a League cum Knock-out Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament in T12 format organized by MFC and played with Hard Tennis Ball.
2.   Both teams should nominate one CAPTAIN and UMPIRE, who knows UMPIRING and MFCPL rules for controlling the entire match. Any disputes should be settled with mutual decision by both CAPTAINS.
3.   All the teams shall bring one set of Stumps & Bat. The bat should be made with WILLOW (WOOD). Balls will be provided by organizer.
4.   Both Captains must understand the BOUNDARY LINE and any obstacles within the boundary shall be cleared or clarified before the TOSS.
5.   Batting and Keeping Pads are not allowed in the Tournament. However, Batting and Keeping Gloves can be used.
6.   Each Captain should exchange his PLAYING XI list to the opponent captain before the toss. No player can be changed after the nomination without the consent of the opposing captain. If the Captain includes an unregistered player in playing XI under the name of another player who is registered, then only the registered player will be allowed to continue the match.
7.   If in any case a player is injured on Field, Substitution will be allowed only after the decision of Umpire & Opposite Captain.
 8.  If any case TIES during LEAGUE matches, points will be shared with two teams and in KNOCKOUT matches tie will be decided in the form of SUPER OVER and if any team BOYCOTTS the game, the opponent will be                considering as Winner.
9.   During League matches if any team will be giving WALKOVER, Then the opposite team will be given additional Run Rate of 0.300 & the same will be deducted from the Team giving Walkover. These points will be added at            the end of the League Stages.
10. Teams should report 15 minutes before the scheduled time and the toss should be held 10 minutes prior to the Match time. During toss, at least 7 players should be present in the ground. If a Team fails to report before the scheduled time, then the toss will be awarded to their opponents.
11.  Late reporting team will lose 1 over in every 10 minutes and any team fails to report to play within 20 minutes of scheduled starting time, the Team will be disqualified and opposite team shall be declared as Winner.
12. Umpire's decisions will be final throughout the tournament. Any sort of MISCONDUCT by any players will result in direct suspension.
13. Knockout stages umpiring will provided by MFCPL committee.
 
PLAYERS REGISTRATION
 
1.   A team can register maximum of 16 players with Full name, Civil ID Number & recent photo before first league match.
2.   12 Players should be registered before first league match. Rest 4 players can be added before 3rd League Match & by Tuesday (3rd  League Match). No changes will be done thereafter.
3.   A player is not allowed to play with two or more Team. If any player is registered with more than 2 Teams, then the first played team will be considered as his Team.
4.   Committee holds the rights to CANCEL/ADD players in MFCPL.
5.   KPL season 11 top 4 team players are not allowed to participate in this tournament.
  
PLAYING RULES
 
1.   Both innings is limited with 12 over’s and every bowler gets to bowl a maximum of 3 over’s.
2.   Top 2 teams from each group will qualify for knockout stages
3.   Byes, Leg Byes and Over Throws are applicable in this Tournament. But LBW is not applicable.
4.   Only 5 fielders can field on the leg side at any point of time including bowler.
5.   No ball and Wide will be penalized according to tennis ball cricket rules. One run and an extra ball will be awarded for a no ball or a wide ball and free hit is not applicable.
6.   Free hits are applicable from knockout stages.
7.   Fielders and bowlers also are prohibited from shouting anything from the instant the bowler starts the bowling stride to the instant the ball is either played or crosses the normal batting position of the batsman.
8.   Wicket keeper is not allowed to move from his position from the point when bowler starts his run up till the ball passes the stumps or the ball hits the bat. Also he is not allowed to collect the bowl in front of stumps in both cases; a NO BALL will be given.
9.   Wicketkeeper can bowl at any time in the Tournament.
10. Ground location can be changed as per the availability and committee decision.
11. Online scoring will be compulsory applicable in the tournament.
12. When Bowler is in his run up and the non striker Batsmen moved Out of his Crease, then 1 warning will be given if Bowler will appeal for Run out. If the same will be continued then he will be declared as run out & Ball will not be counted.
