Venue: 1Gregg road Time: 2:30pm Players attended: Satish, Obul, Saikrishna,Hafeez, Sreekanth, Nagesh and Rajesh Boys started with a nice warm-up. 1st Innings: 3 Overs batting per player 1st Innings Highlights: >Batsman middled the balls. >Some power-hitting over off-side fence. >Sai shined with the ball. Bowled some bouncers on the damp pitch. >Hafeez tried some spin and sreekanth struggled to read his bowling. That was some fun. :) >Rajesh did well with both ball and bat >Nice hitting by Satish over leg-side >Nagesh took some good catches in the short mid-wicket and short mid-on. 2nd Innings: 2 Overs batting per player 2nd Innings highlights: >Again some power-hitting by the batsman. >Satish bowled some nice back of length balls. >Obul took hat-trick wickets and the bunny is Sreekanth. Thus, created history in Gregg road grounds by becoming the first player ever to take hat-trick. ;) Miscellaneous: Throw at stumps practice. Key takeaways from the practice: >Batsman came into touch. >Left-hand batsman showed some character. Still there is big room for improvement. Should concentrate on boundaries, especially leg-side. |
