06/02/2016 - Grenadiers v The ParshuRammers Grenadiers won and toss and elected to bat. Kiran G & Anil gave a solid start with 50 runs partnership for first wicket. What a start !!! ParshuRammers Captain (Atul) stuck both the openers. ParshuRammers thought of putting some pressure on batting side but Rohit from Grenadiers played some big shots and helped the team to score Highest runs in the series till date (total score of 150). Rohit (71). ParshuRammers were under pressure - chasing the highest score plus beat the RRR. Its not going to be easy and they knew it. Atul got caught on the first ball of innings (slower deliver from Vikram). Things got tough for ParshuRammers. All hopes were on Mayank & Sushil. Sushil played couple of shots but couln't last longer on crease. Rohit from Grenadiers stuck 2 quick wickets to put ParshuRammers under pressure. But Mayank kept playing and was handling pressure like a pro. Vishal & Mayank were trying to build partnership but a magic ball from Anil got Mayank (57) out putting ParshuRammers on backfoot. ParshuRammers managed to score 113. Grenadiers won by 38 runs. Grenadiers are at top of the points table after winning all the matches. MOM: Rohit.  |
