Pashurammers won the toss and elected to bat. Dharmendra from Arjunas started with his signature bowling and stuck Sushil on the first ball - Nice start. Mayank & Atul were building partnership but Jaideep got Atul (Nice catch from Amit Bansal). 2 wickets down in 5 overs pashurammers were feeling the heat. Kiran N. & Mayank played well and kept scorebord running until Dharmendra stuck again (Kiran N.). Wickets kept falling on one end but Mayank stood like wall on the other end and played keeping himself cool & calm. Arjunas kept the batting team under control until Mayank hit 23 runs from the last 2 overs making total score 123 for Pashurammers. Arjunas opener Wasim got Run Out after feeling the run rate heat. It was unfortunate run out. Amit S. was trying to keep scoreboard running but got stuck by Atul. Pashurammers didn't let the Arjunas captain to stick on crease for long time. Wickets kept falling on regular intervals. 4 wickets down in 6 overs. Arjunas were under pressure - needed big shots. Dharmendra started hitting nice shots from the first ball but Atul didn't let him play for longer. Good bowling effort from Ajay Vats & Atul. They made sure to get Arjunas all out under 100 runs. Team effort from Pashurammers enabed them to slip the game from team Arjuna's hands. Overall nice performance from everyone. Mayank - 60 runs Not Out Atul - 4 wckts Ajay - 3 wckts Dharmendra - 2 wckts & 18 runs. thank you. |
