Match summary: Grenadiers opens its season with a 7-wicket and 3.4 overs to spare win over Arujunas. Batting first Arujunas openers (Amit S. & Anshuman) scored 50 runs partnership for the first wicket. Amit S. played couple of big shots. Grenadiers bowlers managed to break the opening partnership and took another 3 more wickets in less than 3 overs. Arjunas were struggling but Amit Bansal stick to the crease and Arjunas innings finished with 119 on the board. Inspite of loosing an early wicket Grenadiers (Prashant & Kiran G.) kept the scoreboard running & not letting required run rate shoot up. Rohit musceled down the required run rate with some big shots. Man of Match: Prashant Yadav Great start to a long and grueling season ahead, always good to start the campaign on a positive note!!  |
