Queens United Sports Club Inc. (LAX Network Queens DBA Dunkin 40 Overs Premier Competition 2024)

Captain : Oraine Williams

Vice Captain : Damion (JAZZY) Jacobs

Player Count : 25

Home Ground : IDLEWILD CRICKET GROUND

Queens United Sports Club Inc. formed in 1982 and played at Baisley Pond Park. In 1993 Austin Hutchinson, Lincoln Hinds, Calvin Heyliger and Neville Flowers went to the office of the then Council Member Leroy Comrie to help us find a piece of unused city land to build a cricket field for our community. A diligent search yielded Idle Wild Field which was a old junk yard filled with scrap metals and used car parts and tires. It took two years of volunteers from Queens United Sports Club  to clear the swamp land and build the cricket field.
In 1995 the Idle Wild Cricket ground was established. In 2011 members of our club went to the Queens borough President Helen Marshall seeking help to upgrade the field. The Boro president offered to do the development and the Park was built as we know it today. It takes alot of volunteers and time to upkeep the park as we know it. In 2014 Queens United Cricket Academy was established to teach the skills of the game. The vision of the academy is to create a fun platform for young boys and girls aged 5 to 16 years.
Queens United is a registered not-for-profit organization in the state of New York and has many charities and community services not limited to the game of cricket,
