All the League matches with 15 over per innings will have the following rules for the power play:
Total 4 overs of mandatory field restriction is applied in every innings.
First 2 overs restriction is to be taken by the bowling captain in between 1 - 6th over of the match. If he forgets to take the privilege then default restriction will be 5th and 6th over of the innings. During this restriction maximum 2 players are allowed outside 30 yard circle.
The remaining 2 overs restriction is to be taken by the batting captain in between 9th - 12th over of the match. If he forgets to take the privilege then default restriction will be 11th and 12th over of the innings. During this restriction maximum 3 players are allowed outside 30 yard circle.
Semi Final & Final matcheswith 20 over per innings will have the following rules for the power play:
Total 6 overs of mandatory field restriction is applied in every innings.
First 3 overs restriction is to be taken by the bowling captain in between 1 to 7th over of the match. If he forgets to take the privilege then default restriction will be 5th, 6th & 7th over of the innings. During this restriction maximum 2 players are allowed outside 30 yard circle.
The remaining 3 overs restriction is to be taken by the batting captain in between 12th - 16th over of the match. If he forgets to take the privilege then default restriction will be 14th, 15th and 16th over of the innings. During this restriction maximum 3 players are allowed outside 30 yard circle.
