On 13th September 2021,Another very exiting series was about to begin.With those same old faces,Bust Bulls and Hailer Heroes.The toss was won by captain of Bust Bulls,Akshat Malhotra who was also awarded Man of the Series the previous time these two teams played against each other.Akshat Malhotra and Prithvi Sharma opened the innings for Bust Bulls.The Vice-Captain Prithvi Sharma gave Bust Bulls a firing start but was dismissed by Aditya Chopra on 31.After Prithvi’s dismissal Himmat Singh and Akshat Malhotra created a mammoth 94 run partnership.However they were also dismissed on the scores of 51 and 58 respectively.The middle order consisting Harish Tirki, Aakash Malhotra, Kartik Mehta and Manoj Tiwari made runs within the range of 11 to 18.These contributions made Bust Bulls Put a target of 209 in their 25 overs.Dhruv Pandey,Aditya Chopra and Hailer Heroes captain Karan Sharma all took 2 wickets each.While chasing 209 Hailer Heroes vice-captain and last series’s Best Batsmen ,Manveer Singh Made an aggressive start by making 60 of just 31 deliveries but was sent to pavilion by Bust Bulls vice-captain Prithvi Sharma.Prithvi also took the major wickets of the opposition captain Karan Sharma and Nitin Kaushik at the scores of 51 and 53 respectively.Afterwards wickets kept falling from one end.Uday Vashisht,Kartik Mehta,Mohit Gautam all took a couple of wickets each .Samim Iqbal was able to protected his end for a long time but was run out on 32 by captain Akshat Malhotra,When they needed 1 run of 1 ball.The match went to super-over!.Hailer Heroes were sent to bat first.Ball in the hands of Prithvi and on strike Manveer Singh,He was dismissed by hitting a boundary and a couple of singles.Captain Karan Sharma was able to hit the last ball to the boundary.Putting score of 11 runs,Capatin again took the ball in his hand for the super-over.Himmat Singh and Akshat Malhotra step on the crease but Himmat was dismissed for none by Karan on the fourth ball when Bust Bulls needed 5 of 2.Prithvi gave the stick to Akshat for the last ball.A boundary needed to draw and a six to win! And get ahead start of the series.Captain of Hailer Heroes bowling to Captain of Bust Bulls.It was a tense moment.As soon as Akshat hit the ball in air almost every spectator was on his feet.A six to finish the an exiting match.Karan Sharma was awarded Man of the Match for scoring 51 and taking 2 wickets with an economy of 6.5 |
