COVID 19 Protocols

The following procedures MUST be followed at all times whilst at the venue.

• Each team will be provided with their own designated player’s area that they will have exclusive use of for the entirety of the weekend. No one, including players from other teams are permitted to enter this area.
• There will be no handshakes allowed. At the toss captains are asked to either knock elbows, doff their hats/caps or salute each other as a sign of respect.
• As per ICC instructions, it is not permitted to use saliva on the ball, to shine the ball you may rub it on our clothing or utilize sweat from your arms.
• The official’s area, commentary area and production facilities are strictly off limits to all players.
• While at the ground players not on the field must stay at least 2m from plyers from other teams, members of the public (that they do not live with) or wear a mask.

T10 Format and Live stream Information

• To ensure the match goes at a quick pace, all overs will be bowled from the same end.
• Umpires will rotate over to over.
• Each umpire will be given a spare ball that they will take onto the field with them at the start of the game. When a ball has gone over the boundary and has to be fetched by a non-player, the umpire shall give their spare ball to the bowler for him to use.
• Once disinfected the other ball will be returned to the umpire and will become the spare ball.
• There will be live online scoring done in addition to the scorebooks being completed by our local scorers. If there is ever any inconsistency between online scoring and book scoring it needs to be fixed immediately. One scorer should continue to do the match while the other liaises with the online scorer.
• While the matches will be live streamed, there will be no DRS.
• The toss for the first match on every day needs to be done at 9:00am so both Captains must be at the ground at 8:45. The toss for each match needs to be done 1 hour prior to the start of the match.
• The Match Referee will conduct the toss for each match.
