RATNAGIRI FIGHTER CRICKET LEAGUE 2021/22-RULES & REGULATIONS
Dear Teams,
It’s our pleasure to be associated with you in the upcoming RATNAGIRI FIGHTERS CRICKET LEAGUE.
We would like you to go through the simple rules & regulations of this league and abide by it until the final match.
Rules & regulations 1. All the league matches from Match 1 to the final match will be of 15 OVERS per side. 2. The tournament will commence from 31st DECEMBER 2021. 3. Matches will be conducted every FRIDAY MORNING with following timings. Reporting Time: 06:00 AM Starting Time: 06:30 AM 4. 20 minutes will be the grace period for the Team who will failed to reach at given time. 5. From 21st minute every 5-minute delay will be consider 1 over for the late comers. 6. After 4 overs of delay (20 minutes from end of grace period) present team will be declared as a winner and awarded by winning points. 7. Minimum 8 players should be available on the ground to start the match and no substitute players will be allowed. 8. The remaining players should be reporting to the ground before the completion of 4 Overs, failing to do so, the match must be played only with available players on the ground. 9. If any team fails to report with minimum 8 players at ground by 06:30 AM, the opponent team will be declared as WINNER and awarded points. 10. All bowlers can ball maximum 3 overs. 11. Prior to the match starting both team captains should verify the players in “CCRICCLUBS" application and mark the playing XI in the app. If It's Proven by Opponent Team About Any Unregistered Players Being Part of the match then the opponent team will be given winner even After Match Finishes. 12. LIVE scoring in the “CRICCLUBS” application should be used, and manual updating is not allowed in case of any serious technically issue. 13. Power play: First 3 Overs will be power play. And 1 over batting power play able to take during overs 05 to 10, During power play, only 3 fielders will be allowed to field outside marked 30-yard circle. It is mandatory to field with 8 players including bowler & Wicket keeper inside the circle. 14. 3 fielders should always be inside the marked 30-yard circle throughout the 15 overs match. 15. Substitute fielders on the ground will be allowed but to be informed to the Umpire. However, he will not be allowed to bat/bowl or keep wickets. 16. No substitute runner will be allowed. 17. Wicket Keeper can do bowling however in such cases he should inform the Leg Umpire for this, he should come on field for a minimum of one over prior bowling. 18. No ball and wide will be penalized according to cricket rules. One run and an extra ball will be awarded for a no ball and a wide ball. There is a FREE HIT for any kind of no ball. 19. Run Out Non-Striker: The bowler may attempt to run the batsman at the bowling end (non-striker) if he is trying to steal a run, only after warning the batsman at least once. 20. Delivery pitching outside the concrete is considered as No ball. 21. No bowler can bowl immediately after coming off the field after substitution. He will be FIT only after taking the field for next one over. 22. Tied Match: If the same number of runs scored by both Teams in a match, Super Over will decide the winner. In case of tie again, the super over will continue till the result. 23. Standard and Bombay bats are allowed. Single piece bats, Customized Bats and curved bats are not allowed (specially SRILANKAN bats are not allowed. 24. If Match Stopped by rain or any other unforeseen situation one point will be shared to each team. 25. Only GURU LASSER- Balls with Blue or Black or Laser writing for all the matches (New ball). Used balls (Teams used balls) can be used only after completion of power play. 26. While batting in case if the batsman hit the ball and got caught out in the field and ball is in the broken condition then this will be considered as Dead-Ball. [Six or four will be considered as runs scored]. 27. Maximum 5 fielders allowed to field on the leg side. 28. Umpires Reserves the Rights to Call No Ball with or without Warning If Any Bowler Balls Under Arm or Throw Ball (Chucking).
Responsibilities of the team captain:
1. Team captain is solely responsible for the teams conduct during the entire tournament. 2. In case of any discrepancies or disagreement between two teams in any matter, only captain of each team can discuss or talk to on-field umpire or committee member. If in any case any other team member tries to misbehave or pass any comments to opposing team or umpires, the team will be disqualified from the tournament.
Note: The Committee has the right to amend the rules as they deem it necessary for the success of the League. We wish all the teams best of luck and expect your support to make this league another a big success and a historical one in Qatar. CODE OF CONDUCT
IMPORTANT NOTES: 1) It's Humble Request to All Captains If Opponent Team Not Sure About Player and Want to Check Player's ID Please Do the Needful. 2) It's dependent on both captains for over deduction if match not being start on time Committee has already mentioned in the rules itself. 3) Only Player Will allow to play Knock Out stages if he has at Least played 2 League Matches. 4) Guru Laser Balls are Only to Be Use If Any Team Found Using Other Balls Any Stage of The Match Opponent Team Will Be Given Winner of The Match.
A player may not: - 1. Assault or attempt to assault an Umpire, player, official, or spectator. 2. Abuse, insult, swear at an umpire, player, official, or spectator. 3. Dispute the decision of an umpire or those acting in the place of umpire. 4. Use crude hand signals or other gestures to convey an improper response to decisions or situations that arise. If during the course of the game you observe any improper acts please report these incidents to RATNAGIRI FIGHTERS CRICKET LEAGUE officials with the infringements and the names of witnesses.
