Qatar Hard Tennis Ball Cricket is set to undergo another experiment. A total of 20 teams will square off in the tournament. The tournament is open for any team and it will run from February 2022 to December 2022. The rules and regulations of the T10 Cricket League, to commence from February 4 at the Al Waab Ground, have been finalized. Under these rules player replacement is allowed only for a player who is unavailable for the entire league due to unavoidable reasons.
The replacement player can be selected from the list of unpicked players at the draft.
The duration will be a maximum of 10 overs per side with each bowler allowed to bowl
no more than 2 overs in an innings. As a result, in case of interruption, a minimum of 5 overs shall be bowled for each innings. There will be 2 Points for a Win, 1 Point to each side in case of a draw, and no points for a loss. In case of rain, the match has abounded, each team will get one point each.
Other rules are as follows:
- The batting team should bring their own hard tennis ball (Only Guru ball is allowed)
- There is no LBW
- The on-field unpair decision is the final.
