RHS dominance in the Rustenburg Social League

Round 5 has been played over the weekend of the 23rd, where RHS young guns continued their high performance to break the current total record of 247 in 20 overs to 248-5 in 20 overs. Its been a exciting tournament with upsets, or not actually upsets but teams coming threw due to being prepared and organised.
As RSL is reaching half way, some incredible performances has been on display, Chris Peyer playing for Swat has scored  four 50's in a row, and not out each time. He is dominating with the bat, and could he be the key on the day they play RHS academy to stop there winning streak. Chris Peyper is not only the current top ranked batsman but over-all number 1 on the ranking as he continuously picks up wicket with the ball in hand.

RHS academy leading the tournament with fearless cricket, showed intent from the first game. Swat is up to play RHS in next months fixtures which could break the winning streak if they pitch up ready to go as they haven't lost a game aswell.  The quality of the cricket thats been played has urged teams to only get better and have more consistent performances.

RPLATS didn't kick off on a high, but them being in the lower part of the table might surprise the log coming the last half of the season as they only getting better each game. Milcore Warriors, coming to the party each match prepared to win, has climbed the log. They definitely the side the top 5 should keep their eyes on.

Sloggers, Striking Lanchers and Kaboom are rated top sides, they've positioned themselves well on the log, and there silence is dangerous as they have the ability to reach the top but still with Sloggers having big names haven't fired as yet, but watch them in good form. Striking Lanchers doesn't hold back at the moment being very consistent as with Milcore Warriors. These two sides have the opportunity to reach the semi-finals if they continue with there current performances. With Striking Lancers captain JP Labuschagne leading from the front, being second on the batting ranking, first on the bowling ranking, they are in it as anticipated for the semi-final spot, but it is early days, and in this competitive league anything is possible.

The mighty Spartans, as they need to find the balance of just how to get over the line, they are still in it. Having great players, but not finishing the moments might be the down-fall. Will we see them coming back this second half?

Sebetsa, EHW, Mercenaries and RCB,have all played great cricket but just didn't have enough to dominate at certain sessions during games, which caused losses for them. The spark is needed for them to get winning and challenge the top at this moment.

As RSL is at the halfway stage, upsets was seen, and more is expected. The players rankings are changing, but Chris Peyper (SWAT)  and JP Labuschagne (STRIKING LANCHERS) has retained their spots week after week on the batting and bowling ranking. Who is going to pass them? but most important, who is going to get Chris Peypers wicket?

More quality cricket is to be seen and log's to tumble, its going to be an exciting second half.
